How a price is built

Base & handling
A flat charge covering booking, handling and platform costs. It varies by service level.

Intercity linehaul
Distance × a per-km rate for the route. This is the bus leg.

Weight
Slabs, not a flat per-kg rate. The first kilogram carries no weight charge; after that ₹9–₹26/kg depending on the band.

First and last mile
₹45 for doorstep pickup, ₹45 for doorstep delivery. Drop it or let them collect it and you pay neither.

Declared value cover
Free up to ₹5,000. Above that, 1.2% of the excess.

GST
18%, included in every figure shown on this site.
Minimum charges apply. Economy ₹69, Standard ₹119, Express ₹199 before GST — because even the smallest envelope needs a rider, a bus seat and a delivery.

Pricing questions
Because the cost of moving a parcel is mostly fixed — the handling, the two rider legs and the bus space are similar whether it is 2 kg or 4 kg. Slabs reflect that honestly instead of pretending every kilogram costs the same. The first kilogram carries no extra weight charge at all.
